Straws Mighty Magnum is versatility.  Magnum earned many prestigious awards and recognition for his excellence in a variety of events - from the ApHC, NBHA, and Open show circuits. On top of his successful show career, Magnum was also a favorite for ranch work and leisurely trail rides.  His athleticism and versatility paired with his quiet, easy going personality made him a favorite with all who meet him...and his good looks were always turning heads.

Magnum comes by his abilities honestly.  His sire, Straw Sham is a multiple Medallion producing sire, World & National Reserve & Top Ten winners (USA & Canada), ROM producing sire, and his foals have earned many ApHC points.  Not to mention he is by the great Roman's Straw Man and his dam comes from the well known Hank Weiscamp Skipper horses.  Magnum's dam, Popeye's Pride was no slouch, and has proven herself in he breeding shed.  With only 3 foals, they earned over 200 ApHC & ACAAP points, Medallions, Top Tens at the Worlds & Nationals, and numerous Year End awards.

Magnum's success spread past the show ring and into the breeding shed.  Magnum's foals exhibit the same athletic ability and excellent dispositions while also being stamped with exception conformation, pleasing profiles, and the will to work that made their sire the exceptional horses that he was.  His foals have stolen the spotlight in ApHC, 4-H, and Open show rings around the United States and have been sought after for breeding programs around the globe.  They have been excellent Youth & Non-Pro mounts with their quiet, trainable dispositions , while still being competitive in the Open classes.  To date, the Magnum Force has earned nearly 2300 points and counting on the ApHC Circuit.  View his get's accomplishments below.
